The room was spacious and clean, which was nice. The breakfast selection was limited, and the parking is a hassle. Great location for cycling and hiking in the area.

Location is excellent, close to the wharf. The room was nicely decorated but quite dark and cold.

The grounds are gorgeous with a charming courtyard and fountain. I loved that our suite fit our family of 7 perfectly and the staff was welcoming.
The breakfast was a bit underwhelming for the vibe.

Spacious rooms, spacious amenities with a decent size for comfort and a nice warm pool that allowed for relaxation after a day of exploring.
Zero issues.

I appreciate a clean, comfortable space, and the room was large and inviting upon arrival. The location was ideal for our events, just a short walk to key attractions. the noise from the upstairs room was disruptive well into the night. Breakfast was convenient but lacked variety, and the so-called spa left much to be desired. The decor felt outdated, and the discrepancy between online photos and reality was disappointing. Mismanagement was evident; cleanliness must be prioritized. Staff should also prepare for families with heavy bags, as there are no elevators. There’s potential here, but significant improvements are imperative to elevate the experience. With some changes, this could be a noteworthy stay.

The room was huge and had a delightful gas fireplace that kept us warm during the chilly nights! The breakfast was delicious, and we loved that we could enjoy it in the beautiful garden area. Plus, the location made exploring so easy and enjoyable!

The location is perfect for walking to Fisherman's Wharf, and we loved the spacious junior suite with a cozy fireplace. It’s a bummer that the hot tub was out of service during our stay. Also, parking fees were higher than expected.

Checking in was a nightmare! I waited over an hour, missing dinner plans. When I finally got my room, it was small, dirty, and on a different floor than promised. I can’t believe I paid so much for this chaos!

The view of the northern lights was incredible and something I'll never forget. The room had large windows perfect for watching the show.
It wasn’t cheap, but worth every penny.

Hotel Pacific in Monterey offers a fantastic central location with a lovely courtyard featuring a soothing fountain. The spacious rooms come equipped with delightful touches like a large tub and fireplace, making it a cozy retreat. noise levels and additional parking fees could be improved.

Good-sized room with a gas fireplace and a nice balcony. Perfect for families, with some separation between spaces. Great location—easy walks to downtown and the aquarium. Helpful staff and decent breakfast. Parking was a hassle, though; tight garage and limited street options. One room had issues with the safe and cleanliness, which was disappointing. The king bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows lacked support. Still, the charm of the place and proximity to attractions made it worthwhile. Just manage expectations about room sizes and amenities.

The room was spacious and included a cozy sitting area. I appreciated that the bed was positioned away from the window, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The gas fireplace added warmth during the chilly nights, creating a homey atmosphere. the cleanliness left much to be desired; the bathroom needed better attention, and stained towels were a concern. The gaps around the door allowed drafts to seep in.

The proximity to key attractions like Cannery Row just a 15-minute walk away and the stunning Monterey Bay Aquarium which is almost 2 km from the hotel makes it an ideal spot for weekend adventures while allowing for lovely strolls to the nearby Dennis the Menace Park which is only about 1 km away offering plenty of green space to relax in and delightful eateries such as Crepes of Brittany a few steps from your room just adds to the experience but it could benefit from some updates as certain amenities felt a bit outdated.

The decor in the bathrooms was also a nice touch, adding to the overall ambiance of the room. there were a few areas that could use some improvement. The room we stayed in had a very tiny toilet, which was a bit inconvenient. the bath taps were installed the wrong way round in room 202, causing some confusion. The lack of modernization in the rooms, such as outdated headboards and carpets, made the rooms feel a bit dated and in need of a refresh. One thing we appreciated was the provision of free toiletries in the room, which was a nice touch. we did encounter some cleanliness issues during our stay, such as dirty passageways and overflowing outside garbage, which was a bit off-putting. our stay at the Pacific had its ups and downs. The room layout and amenities were satisfactory, but there were definitely some areas that could use some attention.

The spacious rooms allowed all our kids to move freely, and the cozy gas fireplace made evenings warm and inviting. The central terrace was perfect for enjoying morning coffee as a family. The hotel's beautiful grounds reminded us of a Spanish Villa.
My wife says that rooms need better soundproofing.

The room layout was spacious, with a comfortable sitting area and a quiet, safe atmosphere. It was a short walk to the old fisherman's wharf and downtown, making it convenient for exploring the city on foot. The fireplace in the room added a cozy touch, perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing.
the noise disturbance from slamming or banging sounds during the night was unsettling.

I loved exploring the Giant Kelp Forest and the Open Sea Exhibit. The complimentary breakfast was a feast! The hotel's pet-friendly amenities made my furry friend feel like a VIP.
I thoroughly enjoyed the non-stop noise echoing from the walls and doors all night long; music to my ears!

The location of Pacific hotel near Cannery Row, made it a perfect choice for exploring this iconic area. Plus, the surprise of the event coordination team's assistance was a fantastic perk during our stay. The Lodge at Pebble Beach nearby also offered great dining and shopping options.
Super noisy and inconvenient parking. Old rooms in desperate need of updating.

My friends and I had a blast checking out cool events like the Monterey Jazz Festival and watching speedy cars at the racetrack. Adventure by the Sea is the bomb for renting sports gear, dude!
Wish the hotel had a happening nightlife scene for us young party animals to keep the fun going after a day of exploring Monterey Bay.

we stayed at Pacific in a spacious suite that felt like a whole apartment, complete with a real fireplace and a jacuzzi. the staff was very friendly and the location is perfect, within walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf and a little market down the street. the hotel has a unique and untraditional layout, giving it a Mediterranean cottage vibe. the complimentary breakfast, while simple, was a nice touch and included coffee, hot water for tea and instant hot chocolate, along with some snacks and fruit.
All was good 🙂
